In 2022 in Tennessee, there were 1,314 traffic fatalities, including 210 pedestrians killed. 364 (28 percent) of those traffic fatalities were alcohol related (blood alcohol concentration 0.08 or higher), and 219 (17 percent) of those fatalities were speeding related.
